The one odd one was the shooting at Ashland and Irving Park, about a mile from Wrigley Field.The Lakeview area contains primarily a young, hip, professional, semi-professional people. Equal opportunity drive by? The new mayor, Rahm Emmanuel (nicknamed Tiny Dancer) knows the city is down 2,000 cops and another 250 retiring by year end (out of total 14,000) but can’t seem to find the money in the budget to hire more police officers.
