Wouldn’t this make them a political organization rather than a labor union? Seems like they would need to operate under a whole different set of rules.

Yep, And it is our money funneled through the government keeping these unions going. So many payoffs, So many greedy individuals who cry and claim greed of another, but yet are guilty themselves.
Makes me think of “Thou shall not bear false witness”. Evil begets evil. Let the light shine on these vermin.

I cringe every time I see “unions” and “work” mentioned in the same sentence.

so does this mean union workers want their 401k’s took away and UAW workers did not want to have their company bailed out so they can lose their jobs?

Doesn’t even make sense any of this and the media need to start telling it how it really is.

How can they protest what they use like Apple phones, PC’s, buy shirts and eat at McDonalds while then using Starbucks internet

Am I missing the point here or something?

Does the AFL/CIO have to produce tax records? I wonder if they are paying for health insurance and profit sharing?
