Houston tried this and it has turned out to be an unmitigated disaster.
They would do better to find a good solid conservative, Christian, American, Marine Corps veteran if they have any snap at all.
Even assuming that homosexuality is sinful, it does not preclude the San Diego GOP mayoral candidate from being any or all of the above.
