It seems that the Democrats and SKUNCs, keep getting re-elected because we have raised several California generations of infantile adults who still can't decide whether or not they want Mommy (the Democrats) or Daddy (The Skuncs) to run their lives. They favor Mommy, so Daddy keeps trying to be like Mommy in order to win their votes. A real Father would have kicked their butts by now and told them to buck up -- but that's not popular -- so instead Daddy is reduced to wet nurse.
