.. young... naive ..idealistic .. Nah they’re paid professionals. These people who run this type of operation do research to find out what resonates with the American people. They’ve come up with some stuff all of us can relate to - but you have to remember it’s a scam...

If Nancy and Obama had pushed the same you wouldn’t be as receptive. They have motives - and those motives are NOT good. It’s NOT 1968 - these people are hired to trick you and other Americans into thinking this is a grassroots operation.

As I said in my post, many of the original protesters were young idealistic and naive and had valid grievances (among them bailouts of international corporations and finance at the expense of the American middle class, and ~ $1/3 trillion in freebies for illegal aliens annually). Remember there were only 100 or so originally.

Classic marxism = infiltrate a valid protest, take it over, and direct it toward marxist ends. The protest has long been taken over; the original protesters have been used, as in being turned into useful idiots; the protest is no longer grass roots, but run by a well oiled, well financed machine that has been waiting in the wings for such an opportunity.

FReeper Terry Mross had an interesting comment. In essence member of the tea party protests were too savvy to be taken over and used.

FYI there were a lot of Marxists playing the same game in 1968.

You're right, they were. But there were sooooooo many baby boomer students involved that the Marxist lost control.
