I love how easy it was to make Phil look like the idiot he is. Milton was the best.

Yes, Friedman vs Phil Donahue is an intellectual mismatch of epic proportions. Donahue isn't even bright enough to ask the right questions. Donahue isn't even bright enough to understand that poverty is the natural condition of man. Who was more poor than the caveman? Donahue assumes wealth exists naturally. It is only recently (in relative terms) and only in certain countries that have practiced free markets and capitalism that people have risen out of poverty. We can easily fall back into poverty with the likes of mental midgets like Phil Donahue and much more importantly Barack Obama.

This video is from 1979 when we dominated world trade. Zero Japanese automobiles being imported. We rarely ran trade deficits and they were tiny if we did. It was easy to be for free trade back then but times change
