Don’t blame this on the RNC. The “conservative” Republican candidates are the ones protecting Romney. I’m sick of all of them.

You are probably right if you consider Rove and the rest of the conservative hating Repubs not part of the RNC ruling factor.
The only conservative Republican candidates I know of are busy running their own campaigns.
