Issa also agreed with one of the questioners that Fast and Furious made no sense as a law enforcement operation. However, he's hesitant to say that there were other motives behind the operation.
"The conspiracy floated out there constantly is that this was a back door way to get an assault weapons ban back in place. Here's what seems to be easy to understand," Issa explained.
"That administration wanted to show that guns in Mexico predominantly came from the U.S. My problem is that whether under the conspiracy or simply wanting to show that they couldn't get the same information by simply cooperating with the Mexican government," Issa added.

Not theater, Rep Issa knows something and is waiting to drop the hammer. Holder will be one piece of a much bigger puzzle and Rep Issa is playing this very tight and very smart.

I believe that Issa has set his sites much higher. All these agencies could not have been engaged without higher authority. 0bama made a HUGE mistake trying to personally destroy Issa.

He WON'T say it!!!! ...and if he gets Holder to admit that he's known of F&F from the start and he resigns...and maybe Breuer, that's where it will end!
Where were you folks during the Whitewater hearings?...during the 9/11 cOmission?...Bobby Baker?
Until someone comes out and ACTUALLY SAYS what was at the root of this, it is just theater. A couple of treasonous Alpha Hotels may lose their jobs, but that is all.
You folks place far to much trust in politicians...they are ALL scum...some are just worse than others.
