The attack on Egyptian Christians was not sectarian. We will uncover the truth

I have never learned to trust The Guardian. I admit it is entirely possible that Egypt’s Military Junta is behind the murder of Egypt’s Copts. But my natural inclination is to believe this was sectarian violence, with an Egyptian democrat not wanting to admit her country is succumbing to Islamist violence. I guess I reserve judgement for now. In the end, no matter if my instinct is right or wrong, it was still Muslims massacring Christians. If it were the military, why bend towards the Muslim Brotherood? Nothing good can come of it no matter the reason. Is it too soon to count Egypt as lost?

The “Arab Spring” is not the first liberal project to go predictably wrong, resulting in the destruction of a Christian minority. Just ask the Christians in Iraq how the whole “Arab Democracy” thing turned out for them.

One would think that we would have learned something from that sad episode, but alas...

There is no dilemma. The army is mostly made up of... (drumroll) Muslims. As is the army leadership. As would be expected in a mostly Muslim country.

And the army leadership isn´t stupid - they know which way the wind blows.

The UN recognized an illegal Muslim government on the Ivory Coast. They would not accept the government that the Ivory Coast high courts recognized as legal. The Christians are also getting killed there and we do nothing, not even condemn these murdering Muslim governments.

I have a friend from Tunisia who was all excited by the Arab Spring there. If I ask her, how it is going in Tunisia, she will not answer, so I’m not sure how it is there, but I think her silence is her coping mechanism. Her dreams for her country are not coming true.

"St Augustine was the first place where the Christian prayer was ever said..."

In what is now the US? Was this De Leon? I did not know this. What was the prayer?

Because it is neat to be for the islamists, and to hate the Christians.

My town is in FL St Johns county and was the site of the first prayer ever said in north America.

There is a 200 foot cross marking the place where it was said and a small chapel etc.

A truth teller. Wonder what Nancy Pelosi thinks of this. The President? Maybe if he'd pick his *ss up instead of loitering in the streets he'd accomplish something useful with his life. Not to suggest ranting about Jews isn't important.

This latest outrage, leaving 25 people dead, is yet one more episode in the dirty drama we hoped our revolution would pull the final curtain on. It beggars belief that it continues, and that it elicits the same obsolete responses.

Only the delusional believed that an unruly mob, aided and abetted by foreign sources, was going to transform into a peaceful society.

It is time to drop the word "unbelievable", seen here in journo britspeak as "it beggars belief." In order to be truthful with ourselves we have to acknowledge that terrible outcomes are Totally Believable, when all of the ingredients of the situation can only have a certain outcome: Chaos!!! Failure!!!

The repression of Christians and their imminent martyrdom is the back story to the Mombasa Moonbeam's credit-and-glory-hunting on this Arab Spring multinational Fiasco.

If you ever played hockey, you'll recognize the faux-Presidente as a "Goal Tender," i.e., a guy who doesn't skate much, never passes the puck, but just hovers around the goal waiting to grab lucky rebounds or take easy shots.

He is not a leader, but a bystander with a team of spinners who lie in wait to seize upon any opportunity to turn anything that happens to happen into a glory-story for their ridiculous "hero.*"

Democracy my Aunt Fanny. This whole Arab Spring Deal is engineered by jihadists who are co-opting the movement to return the Caliphate and massacre those few Christians who somehow remain in their midst.

*e.g., Some guy in Oshkosh who used to make $35/hr finally scores a pizza-delivery gig at $7/hr-$3.50/gal gas, and this is the "BIG RECOVERY!"

Yes the city has a lot of history and a very Christian one too.
My wife and I always laugh at how we have the over 200 foot cross being seen from very afar plus lit up at night and there is not anything the ACLU or anyone can do about it LOL.

It is very nice to visit the site and stand exactly in the site where the first Christian prayer was ever said in North America and then to walk the grounds and go in the little chapel which is there.

I did try the fountain of youth but I don’t think the water is working on me, LOL

well hopefully in the near future you get to come down here to our little city, we always need good conservatives here whether to stay or to visit.

Have a very nice weekend
