What this country needs is another Constitutional Convention. I have heard all the excuses and reasons why that is impossible but there has to be a way where we can acquire control of our destiny and modernize our founding documents.
I’m sure many posters here can think of at least one thing they would like to change, or clarify in the Constitution. Some wording that would make it impossible for some future unelected judge to twist the wording in order to make it fit his own beliefs and agendas.

I think it's been shown that there is no wording a leftist judge won't twist or just outright ignore in favor of his own "enlightened wisdom". They simply don't put any authority or value on fixed rules, especially when compared to their own contemporary enlightened status.

There is nothing wrong with our current Constitution. We just need to make our government follow it again.

A Convention would open us up to all manner of liberal sh*theadedness. No thanks.

We need to restore our Republic. By force of arms if necessary.

IMO, there should be NO modernizing of our Constitution. It should be left alone, the way it was intended by our Founding Fathers.

What we need is to change our government, to those that will uphold the Constitution, as it was written.

And TERM LIMITS. I believe if Term Limits are set in place for EVERY politician, at local and federal levels, then they won’t be in place long enough, to obtain enough power to change or twist the Constitution to their agenda.

Make the representatives be truly that, representatives. Take away their benefits, the life time pay/pensions, and any other subsidies they get for serving their country. It should NOT be a career. And it definitely should NOT be something they WANT to stay in. I liked the idea someone else came up with on another thread, where they should get paid, based on how well they represent their constituents. If they don’t represent, or prove they are there for themselves, they don’t get paid and vice versa.

Just sayin’

Our Constitution isn’t broken. It just needs to be followed. A ConCon won’t make that happen.
