Yes, it sure does. Romney can’t beat Perry, but he can beat Cain.

Romney can’t beat Perry, but he can beat Cain.

Romney has a chunk of moderate Republican support and he will probably get some liberal/moderate independent vote in a general election. Perry has almost no Republican support and would get no liberal/moderate independent vote in a general election.

Anyone voting for Perry really wants four more years of Obama.

I am not so sure Romney can beat Cain in a 2 candidate final. Cain has surprised every one, and there is a reason he is climbing....He connects with people, whereas Romney does not. Also, Romney's baggage is huge (latest reports of Romney advisers meeting with Obama in oval office to discuss Romneycare), Cain has no such baggage being a political newbie.

Let’s just step this up a notch. Wrapped with the flag around their head we have a cabal of so called conservatives on FR giving loft to Cain, a guy who smartly knows how this is all going down. Romney is no conservative. He is a socialist. It is not alright that Cain has elected to support, grin at, and pal up with Romney, who has patterned up the nation’s first foray into socialized healthcare, palled around with Kennedy, favored all RINOs, all the time, while his advisors assisted in how to implement Obamacare.

If I did for Romney what Cain is doing for Romney I would be kicked off FR.
