Gun owners are not happy right now at all. What scares me is the openness of discussion concerning “what is going to happen” and by whom it is being discussed.
Congress better wake up fast and move hard on this stuff. I fear that someone may have a moment of indiscretion and do the wrong thing at the wrong time. Our nation has been stretched to the limit on enduring corruption and falsehood by our elected officials. Something is going to break and when it does, it’s going to break very hard and my fear is a lot of innocent people are going to be hurt or suffer because of it.
As you say, 2012 is going to be a major tell tale for our country. I pray that God will guide us along the right path.
I pray God it is so...there has not been a better opportunity, IMHO, in my lifetime now spanning 55 years.
If we can do this, then we will have the power...and most importantly, the people in place with the will to do so, and the backing of the people.
it may well get ugly. The rats are already trying to sow seeds of what I believe they hope will be massive upheaval and protests to try and either cow the change, or to prevent it if they can make it bad enough.
There are groups of people beholden to the DNC and their powermonge5rs who I expect will not accept a change back to individual responsibility and the laws that ensure it. but that is what must be done.
2012 will be a bell weather year for our Republic, among the most important of its history...and also fraught with great danger.
I pray God, again, that we have the will and fortitude to grasp the till tightly, and hold on to it until the field of entitlement, marxism, redistribution, anti-constitution, and sappers within is completely turned under.
If the people allow another globalist like Bush on the GOP ticket “against” Obama, nothing will change.
The republican congress of the 90s did not hold Clinton accountable for his crimes, and Bush did nothing to clean up the corruption.
If Clinton’s criminal cartel had been dealt with, we would not be dealing with garbage like Holder in office now.
This is why “anyone but Obama” is totally uancceptable for president if we want to save our republic.
Now, I am not for Herman Cain and believe of the top contendors, right now he is the best GOP choice.
We shall see what the debates and primaroies bring.

I am doing as best as could be expected...in fact better than expected given the nature of my condition and operations, rehab, etc. A merciful Father in Heaven and Savior have been more than merciful and extended many tender mercies to me and mine.
In the mean time...I keep trying to get the word out, as best I can, about our Republic and the fundamental principles it is based upon...and about our reliance on our Savior and His atonement in our individual lives, as well as His teachings which form the basis for those fundamental principles.

This indicates the desire to “reform” gun laws. I have not yet received any evidence of a method or effort to trace the guns or the criminals. There seems to have been no element in the program beyond getting the guns into criminals’ hands in Mexico. There was nothing planned after that would happen. Has anyone else discovered any plans to recover the guns or stop the criminals? Was this entirely about creating force for more gun laws in the US? It now seems clear that it was.
I believe that was rpecisely what it was about. It is my understanding that some of the agents have alluded to the same. but Holder’s own efforts are a clear indication as to what his desired outcome is.
I think your thread might start getting some views now. I hope so, it’s a good article.
I hope more and more people see what kind of abject travesty and mostrocity this has been and how complicit the Attorney General is in it, and determined he is to defelct the light of day on it.

The most used keyword since this story broke last Dec. is 'gunwalker.' At the bare minimum 'banglist' should be put in because, I suspect, most people find this subject using that keyword. It is unusual for any thread about F&F/gunwalker to be up for three hours and only have 29 posts so I know you could have done better view-wise.
In addition to 'gunwalker' and 'banglist' I added 'castaway' 'gunrunner' 'atf' and a string of others relevant to the subject. I guess I'm a fanatic about keywords but they work better than word searches for finding old articles or simply finding an article on a subject you're interested in that is a few hours old and buried in a long list on "latest posts." But they only work if they are relevant, spelled correctly and actually added. I hope my hunch is right and more FReepers find this thread. :-)

Hard to believe we have an administration that is actively arming enemies of this nation, and IMHO doing so in the hopes they will commit mayhem so that that same administration can then try and pass more gun laws on the law abiding citizens.
Actually given Holder’s and Obama’s background and history...it is not so unbelievable...more unbelievable that they were elected and appointed.
But the election of 2010 was a signature election (and hopefully, prayer up...that 2012 will even be more so) and thus we now have a House of Reps who will not look the other way. Can you imagine how much worse this would have gotten?

Not a problem, Jeff. I want people to keep up on this and I also want to strengthen FR's archiving potential. The keyword function here is unique, thanks to John Robinson, and it has more power than search engines if it is used and used well.

If this isn’t enough to bring down not only Holder, but also obammy—I can’t think of anything else that would have the gravity and far reaching consequences that this does.
There is no way IMO that this didn’t go all the way to the top of the present administration, and because of this action, America, and particularly us along the Mexican border are in grave danger.
The purpose of all of this, of course, is to get us to sign on to the UN gun ban.
(Ain’t gonna happen.........)
I heard earlier today about the alleged Iranian assassination plot on foreign dignitaries here in the States. I thought how convenient a distraction for Holder.
