ORLANDO, Fla. President Barack Obama has joined four unemployed construction workers in Florida for a round of beers on a day his jobs bill met defeat on Capitol Hill.
Obama met with the group at Harp and Celt Restaurant & Irish Pub in downtown Orlando. He solicited opinions on the jobs situation and said he was trying to figure out how to get the construction trades back to work.

The bars in downtown are mostly a young crowd....20 somethings and professionals in their 30s/40s out on the town. IMO, this was a pure setup photo stunt. I go that way frequently, and can’t say I have ever seen a table of guys like this in that bar or any other in the area. A table of guys like this would be in any number of bars in other parts of town, not in the entertainment district downtown on a random Tuesday evening.
Do they really think this’ll get his terrible poll numbers back up? This and Michelle with her jumping jacks photo op? Maybe the loafers and crackheads, but they’re not looking for work and will be too strung out to vote, any way...
if they would ship back all the illegal construction workers, these guys might have a job
“I’ve got a plan to get American construction workers back to work. Deport the millions of illegals who stole their jobs”
Sounds like HR 2670 sponsored by Mo Brooks.
It’s so obvious and simple, but most of Congress can’t understand it. Thank God for congressmen like Mo Brooks.
Short of a literal miracle, nothing is going to change until the AnointedIdiot and his merry band of idiotic goons are removed from office. =.=
Things are REALLY bad for the Kenyan.
Thanks for the background. These are most likely union guys. Notice the lack of diversity in the photos.
IMO, a 100% staged publicity stunt. Who said, “In politics, nothing happens by accident, unless it’s planned that way”;)
I’ll lift a toast...to his unemployment. Wait, I’m on my 2nd glass...will that make his unemployment kick in sooner? ;)
It simply amazes me that any of these workers believes one word out of his mouth. It’s otherworldly.
Hey hussein, it is real simple snapper-head. Two steps, I doubt even you could screw that up . . . Well, tell you what, better write these down just to be sure.
One, stop doing, well, everything you have been doing.
Two, start doing, well, the exact opposite of everything you have been doing.
The economy will recover quickly...
I read the title & thought about how it went down with Obama in the situation & saw Obama saying, VIVA MEXICO.
How can you stifle growth and then expect jobs to just magically appear?
And then claim businesses who do have some liquidity are hoarding cash because they don’t want to throw their money down a rat hole just to say there is a job.
The big propeller business ain’t gonna cut B.

Wonder if he is drinking a domestic beer? Bet it’s the Chinese one.
Why wouldn't they believe Obama? They're union members. Obama has protected the UAW by nationalizing two auto companies, thrown a trillion toward public sector and construction unions, wants to spend another half a trillion on more union jobs, his NLRB has blocked Boeing from moving to a right-to-work state, and he has promised waivers from Obamacare in every direction for unions. They may be unemployed now, but they're figuring it's their turn next at the trough.
In the end, they'll be screwed, too, but they're not thinking about the end. They're only thinking that without government and their union, they'll have nothing. It's going to take a forceful candidate to convince them that real prosperity comes from a dynamic private economy not a static public economy.
