My oldest just attended an Eddie Eagle program this summer.
It works. Good, common sense handling of the topic at an age-appropriate level. Note that nowhere in what they teach says "Be terrified at the mere sight of a gun." Which, IMHO, is exactly what needs to happen. :-)
The same program used that advice on things like lighters and matches. Again, it works.
Disney sees fit to edit out guns in cartoons while ABC Disney has a line-up of sit-coms pushing the gay agenda on children.
