Obama's got three wars to play with already.
His "Saudi Masters" -which is pretty funny considering one of Obama's big fundraisers is an anti-sanctions Iranian-born rich guy who is sitting in jail right now for bilking bank of America... and another of Obama's fundraisers, Jodie Evans, has been busting her butt to smooze Iran's nutjob Ahmadinejad- would be hard pressed to arrange for the Iranians to comply and take the bait.
Seems Obama's got Iranian masters.
In any case it was a crisis to spin on and he did.

If we attack the Iranians it should be because of American Intrests...Not Because the Saudi’s want us to! If they want to attack Iran go for it...
I heard Mark Kirk on WLS radio state that it would be too devastating to attack Iran's currency and destroy their economy. Too much chaos, but a military attack would be reasonable. That's the thinking on the Left side of the spectrum.
If we actually got "attacked", then naturally we should nuke the bastards...but we won't with the WUSS_IN_CHIEF in the WH.

The fact that they’re so adamant about the incident being proved, indicates to me a strong likelihood that the whole thing is a fake, a Reichstag Fire to justify some action that the American people would not otherwise go along with.

Exactly. Let the Saudis attack Iran. Problem is that attacking Tehran is a lot tougher than slashing the throats of American pilots and flight attendants.
Best possible outcome: Tehran, Riyadh and Mecca all in smoldering ruin.
