John McCain feels protesters' pain ("I understand their frustration")

The Occupy Wall Street movement is getting sympathy from an unlikely person: Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

The 2008 GOP presidential nominee said he understands the growing protest movement’s concerns over Washington bailouts of major financial institutions.

“Down in Arizona today, Maricopa County has the highest number of homes underwater of any place in this country,” he told reporters Wednesday. “And it’s disgraceful that we took care of the financial institutions, and we did nothing about the housing crisis. So I understand their frustration.”

He later quipped that he may be the “only” Republican does.

Anyone who merely scratches the surface of what McCain is about politically will know that this kind of support out of him is anything but “unlikely”.

Oh geez, Senator McCain....................

I seriously doubt that the twenty somethings, the college kids, and other assorted kooks and crackpots hanging out at these Occupy Wall Street protests lost a house to foreclosure. What the heck is he talking about???????

He's still trying to reclaim his 'maverick' moniker.

No one cares. McCain fails to understand he has outlived his usefulness to the media because he has lost his credibility with the public.

“And it’s disgraceful that we took care of the financial institutions, and we did nothing about the housing crisis. So I understand their frustration.”

Wait. Wasn't this the guy that wanted to delay a debate so he could come back and vote for TARP, the 'original sin' of bailouts that set the precedent that we have to pass every bill presented as bailing out Main Street, because we took care of Wall Street?

It appears from his stay in North Vietnam that McCain was brainwashed by the Communists there. Attacking Romney for firing workers to save what was a failing business? Voting for the bailout and then expressing sympathy for the bolshevik creeps who are doing a kabuki dance for Obama on Wall Street?

If McCain is not brainwashed, maybe he agreed with the North Vietnamese 95% of the time.

ps That kabukie-entertainment-for-Obama that craps on police cars; etc., is a giant advertisment for Ann Coulter's new book:

Demonic

John McCommunist may be an advertisment for Ann Coulter's book, too.

I find it hard to believe that Mr Mavrick is still calling himself a Republican. To what purpose? Perhaps being elected to public office in AZ? May he retire soon, and be replace by someone with a lick of sense. Good Golly can anyone look back to his presidential campaign and see why we are blessed with barack Obama.

Yep dumbass, you are the only one. He is an idiot.

Actually he's not.

“I look at what’s happening on Wall Street and my view is, boy, I understand how those people feel,” he (Mitt Romney) said at a town hall event in Hopkinton, N.H.
