With these low-lifes, I'd be more worried about nastier bugs like hepatitis, dysentery etc.
The micro world could bring anything from this group.
Just read about Henry V's siege of Harfleur in the 15th century. His army camped out around the city with sanitary conditions similar to those in Zucotti Park. By the time the city surrendered about 6 weeks later, he'd lost roughly 1/3 of his troops to dysentery, etc., and only a relatively small number to enemy action.
In a way it would have been nice to see this encampment continue because, given the sanitary conditions, the same thing would have happened to the subhuman hippie scum there. Imagine the open pools of urine, piles of feces, flies happily breeding there, and promptly flying over to the hippies' open commissary, and crawling on the food, which the "people" would then eat. There would have been a very instructive die off.
