FNCs Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry got the first question at todays joint news conference between Pres. Obama and Lee Myung-Bak, President of South Korea. Henry asked the president about the alleged Iranian terror plot, and used a quote from GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney who had criticized Obamas leadership.
Obama responded with, I didnt know you were the spokesman for Mitt Romney.
In an interview later with Megyn Kelly, Henry explains, I was trying to put it in the broader context of not just Mitt Romney, but there are a lot of Republicans out there who would charge that this president leads from behind.
He decided not to engage with Mitt Romeny, said Henry. Instead, he decided to go after me a little bit.

Imagine:
Bush in 2007 to CNN, " Hey didn`t know you were a shill for Obama".
Fallout ?
Nuclear .

That’s one reporter who will never get to ask 0bama a question again.
He had better start getting his financial records in order for his upcoming IRS audit.

I'd have aksed the president how an Iranian plot to kill someone on foreign soil which the sponsor country found to be an enemy of their state is outrageous, while we use predator drones to actually do the same thing? A lot.
I just don't git it? I don't want to discuss the merits of either, but you can't have it both ways.

Did the Iranian target have anything to do with killing innocent civilians?

You can tell, 0bama wants to face romney. By critizing romney, obama elevates romney’s stature and helps to rally the GOP to romney’s defense.
The romney campaign, like any other military campaign, cannot win a war w/o a ground game. How can romney attract bonifide conservative activists to defend his romneycare?

The innocent civilians issue was suggested by the FBI informant and the method, place, and collateral damage was planned by the informant. The Iranian guy just paid him some good faith cash and when the FBI guy reminded him that there would be collateral damage, the Iranian guy said, eff them.
Now what about the real assasinations by predator drones and the collateral damage they have done? Isn't it the same?

You're giving Obama way too much credit. He did not criticize Romney to “elevate” Romney's profile so Romney would end up being the Republican nominee. Obama criticized Romney because Romney — and the reporter who asked this question — had criticized him.
Obama is a petulant narcissist who is not intellectually capable or emotionally disciplined enough to think and act the way you believe he does in this situation.

MSNBC will be giddy with joy about this, as will CNN. Such a childish display from a President will appeal to their childish audience.

Not the point I was making. Sorry that it was unclear. The guy we took out was a guy that had recruited people to kill Americans. The Saudi Ambassador did not. Hence saying they are the same situation is wrong.

Yes, and Bush was telling the truth. Obama is just petty.

Let’s say we did bomb Iran over this. . .
Guess who gets to die, Mullahs? Imams? Ahmadineajad? Terrorists?
Innocent civilians by a ratio of about 1000 /1

I wonder if he would mellow out, warm up to us, become our bbq buddy and try to make us love him,.........if all funding for Secret Service was cut.
That arrogant bastard really needs to quit threatening American citizens.

True. But I hope you’ll agree that romney is not the man who can best take on obama.

If 0bama had been thinking faster, he would never have said that, because he would never have acknowledged knowing what Romney (or other GOP candidates) had said about him. He would have made some little speech about being too busy trying to get his jobs bill passed, playing golf, watching out for Iranian assasins, and going to fund-raising dinners to sit around listening to their comments, etc.

Coming to Obama's defense? Never mind what Obama's peevish quip to the reporter says about Obama, or how it can be used against him. We should see how this can be used against Romney.
Come to think, FR probably should start supporting Obama. He's the best hope of stopping Romney.
