It is essentially the same show over and over, day after day, month after month. . . virtual "rebroadcasts", hour-to-hour even, except for the guests.
But I do kind of like them having a good time..
though Imus claims his name-calling is just for comedy I am convinced that he despises conservative women in politics.
So when he starts in on Palin ("stupid and a dimwit") and Bachmann ("not stupid but despicable and wrong about everything") I turn it off until the start of the next hour. The quotes are not exact but close. BTW, he does have conservative women friends in the media like Laura Ingraham -- and his wife is said to be conservative.
He absolutely swoons over Matt Taibbi and he just loved Anthony Weiner.
Don Imus hates women, period, its just that he can get away with it, when his focus is on conservative women (if he did the same with liberal women, he'd be back in hell again).
Its kind of like O'Donnel the other night with Cain, some of the things he said to Cain, in disdain, could readily be applied to alot of black folks (liberal or conservative), including his desire for Cain, to express "gratitude" for being granted civil right. I suspect alot of white liberals feel that way about minorities but dare not say it publicly, only exposing their fews with black conservatives because they feel safer and know they can get away with it.
