Even in ultra liberal NYC, the shop owners are getting frustrated. They complain the OWS people feel entitled to free stuff from their shops and restaurants. They complain these people are destroying their bathrooms and driving away regular paying customers.
Want to make any bets that NYC begins to poll distinctly LESS Liberal after this ? There is no guarantee a Liberal is capable of the conceptual leap (equivalent to stepping onto a curb) required.

Smelly hippie communists and out of control crime in NYC are nothing new, they come in whenever there is a pathetic loser in the Mayors office, and go back underground when the police are given permission to beat the hell out of them.
There is no saving the place, anybody sane moved out of there a long time ago.
