Yes, our hope is in thinking citizens with guns. However, even this "problem" (for the regime) has them making great efforts to control--constant pushing on the gun control front, media and Big Sis trying to make ordinary citizens the terrorists, proliferation of the alphabet goons with swat teams.

I do not believe it is an exact copy of 1930's Germany; only that the same tactics are being put into play, along with Cloward-Pliven chaos, and Soviet Pravda type media.

The difference is that the media doesn’t have the same monopoly on news and information as the German press did back then. Heavens, no one really takes the MSM seriously anymore anyway. The MSM is like an aunt or looney family member everyone humors, but doesn’t really rely on. I mean, if America were as gutless as you seem to think, the TEA party never would have happened.
