This is a great plan. I like how Perry organizes his Economic plan into this immediate part, The Energize America roll-out, which he can get done immediately.

This recognizes the delay in getting things past Congress and shows some experience and leadership.

Whether you agree or support Rick Perry, this plan is worth the read, as it is extensive and very detailed.

Economic plan comes out 3 days after the economic debate?

Are you referring to the debate that nobody watched? Why in the world would Perry, if he were to announce something in a debate, announce it in a debate on BloombergTV?

I honestly don't personally know a single person who saw the debate. Nobody around here has Bloomberg on basic or expanded cable. I did a search for the ratings the next day, and saw there couldn't be any ratings b/c Nielsen doesn't even monitor it.

Hell, I tried to watch it online, but kept getting bumped off. I missed the first 30 minutes b/c I couldn't get on.

If it’s made by unions and there’s an acceptable alternative, I don’t care how many American flags are slapped on it. No sale.
That means you, Detroit!

The executive branch controls the drilling (energy leases). Go back and read the areas he mentioned. However, he is big on states rights and he would work with Governors in those states. So he is hardly acting as a dictator.

Texas was burning Bubba, so he was much later getting into campaign mode.

What a bunch of bull. I am not aware of any Perry supporters treating Sarah Palin badly. Some of the supporters of other candidates did. However, you are making a trashy comment about Perry.

I hope she (Palin) remembers that Perry backers treated her very poorly in the past

I disagree with that. Perry backers may have treated Palin "supporters" poorly in the past, but only in rebuttal of constant Perry attacks. Which, I might add, continue on just as strong today, if not stronger. These same people have shifted to the Romney-Cain 2012 camp. Same ugly face, same fists in the air, different candidate, even more confused.

thank you for your time.

Yep, it will probably be helpful that they have just completed a (successful) campaign, I would think they would still be “in the mode” a little. I have no idea of the inner workings of a campaign so I don’t know if this would be a bonus or not, just seems like it might be helpful.

You are just smearing and trashing. You should be ashamed of yourself. Stating that the Iranian Assassination Plot was cooked up in TX is a bald faced lie.

Still at it hummmmm. Just drill baby drill is NOT a plan. This is very detailed and the other candidates did not have it. I think Perry’s dog hunts fine. There seems to be a skunk in your location though.

Rusty Humphrey's, ask his listeners, yesterday, if they thought blacks would vote for Herman Cain, the floor gates opened, black people called him for three hours, pledging their support. Mean while the perrywinkes bloody their fingers grasping at straws.

Rusty Humphrey's

Who's that? I'm not being snarky, I honestly want to know.

the floor gates opened, black people called him for three hours

That is great news to hear that so many blacks are turning republican. But are they voting on principles or are they voting on race?

I’m so sick of all the crap packing U.S. stores top to bottom —with goods from China, etc. — Who knew there could be so much Easter, Halloween, Christmas, you name it items, filling 45+ aisles and your cart and emptying your pockets?

NO ONE needs 90% of these “cheap” items. People have storage units to pack away all of their stuff. Then China demands all our technology secrets — or steals them — in order to ALLOW our companies to build in China. ??????

I want Americans making those things I want to buy and the world coming to our manufactures asking for shipments of OUR goods and services.

Exactly, we have a future if we can return to first principles. That is what Rick Perry is talking about, American pride, American self-sufficiency, being once again the engine of the world.

You can't be the valedictorian and deliver your speech three days after graduation!

There are more debates and more campaign stops. This is only the beginning. The nomination is a long way off. I wouldn't write Rick Perry off just yet if I were you. America is going to like his energy/jobs plan.
