Most people don’t know what an apostrophe is now so they just throw it where ever they imagine it might belong. It is just one of the maddening errors that make those of us who went to real schools grit our teeth. Your not supposed too notice the lose usage of the language your supposed too let people think that you don’t notice they’re errors so as not too you know threaten there you know self esteem and make them loose it. Who’s school did they attend anyway? There parents knew better whose they’re teacher?
Haha.
You might want to wipe your shoe off. You just stepped in a steaming pile of poo.
Laffer received a BA degree in economics from Yale University in 1962. He graduated from Stanford University with an MBA in 1965 and a PhD degree in economics in 1971.
Bruce Bartlett is an American historian who turned to writing about supply-side economics.
In addition:
In Bartlett's latest book, The New American Economy: The Failure of Reaganomics and a New Way Forward, he embraces Keynesian ideas, stating that while supply-side economics was appropriate for the 1970s and 1980s, supply side arguments do not fit contemporary conditions.
You might want to ping the Cain fans to post 23. You are going to hear alot of “Reagan advisor Bruce Bartlett says...”
He’s about as sharp as Rick Perry. And it would be good for us to understand that.
Great .... One more person trying to sell books.
no vat tax whatsoever unless the 16th amendement is repealed and a hard cap put on all revenues to the federal government.
meaning it won’t fly unless we get control of everything.
this proposal, as i begin to understand it, is the first negative for me against cain. but he still far better on the principles than rino romney.
Good catch. The article’s title is “Cains 9-9-9 Plan Gains Big-Name Backers.”
I’m wondering, did you just recently sign up at FR to campaign for Cain?
So let me get this straight. According to you, "Art Laffer is still a stellar economist", even though he voted for Bill Clinton TWICE and supports a VAT, a value added tax.
But Bruce Barlett is a "retarded stooge" because he supported Hillary over Obama and had the cojones to call Bush43's domestic policy agenda a major reason for the financial crisis and the bankrupting of America. Btw, Bartlett also supports a VAT himself, just like Laffer.
Fact is, Bush43 did undermine conservatism and did betray the Reagan agenda in the first decade of the 21st century.
This opposition to the Cain 999 tax plan was an exercise in intellectual honesty, of which you are completely lacking thereof.
See #29.
Just compare the most recent books of each, then get back to me. Your fake “economist” is a keynesian now.
How you justify this ignorant stooge is beyond me. Read. Learn. Weep:
Bruce Bartlett: the dirty secret is that Obama is a moderate conservative.

Actually, Cain is my third choice.
Lets move on to the analysis' of Cain's 999 plan. I posted Bartlett's analysis, one of the few out there right now. Where's Laffer's analysis?
Btw, why are you defending Art Laffer? Laffer voted for Bill Clinton TWICE and Bartlett voted for Obama once. That makes Laffer twice the stooge Bartlett is. LOL And they both support a European style VAT, value added tax. A black mark on both their records.
Check out Peter Schiff destroying your butt boy Laffer 8/28/2006-Peter Schiff Predicts The US Economic Collapse With Unbelievable Accuracy. Laffer didn't see the economic collapse or the recession coming, or the the credit crisis, or the derivatives problem or the housing collapse. Laffer is a joke!
So I showed you that your girl Bartlett is a flaming liberal HISTORIAN, then you gripe to me about Laffer. So if Laffer “didn’t see it coming” its kind of funny that he had a book called “The End of Prosperity” that was released right before the financial meltdown in 08.
ANd why would you give me your next sucker - a Paultard - that is also NOT an economist. He’s got a bachelors in accounting and is a stock broker. A lousy one at that.
And where is that great deflation that the Stiff proclaimed was coming in 2009?
BTW, Mr. Stiff seems to like the Hermanator.
WTF! Peter Schiff stumping for Herman Cain?

You need to update your debate skills, Noob. That post won’t pass the smell test. You need to get a degree in debating. LOL
You can ignore the factual content of my reply all you want. Schiff kicked Laffer’s butt. Fact. Laffer never saw the economic mess and financial collapse coming. Fact. Laffer credits John Maynard Keynes as an inspiration for his Laffer Curve.
Still waiting for Laffer’s analysis of the Cain 999 tax plan. .... tick tock tick tock tick tock....
I’m glad, Cain needs all the help he can get.
Needs money and organization more then Peter Schiff.
Yeah, it’s my debating skills that are hurting. I give you Laffer - a GENUINE student of the Milton Freidman school of economics, the creator of the Laffer Curve and the godfather of supply side economics who taught Kemp and Bartlett everything they knew, and you give me back the flaming liberal historian who thinks Obama is a conservative and a libertarian stock broker who actually likes the 999 plan.
I assume logic and debate were not offered in your college.
Thanks for a good belly laugh, Noob. LOL Still ignoring the facts. You’re reply was weak and pointless. Schiff follows the Austrian School of Economics. Laffer has been out of touch for years... 30 years since he worked Reagan.
Still waiting for Laffers analysis of the Cain 999 tax plan. .... tick tock tick tock tick tock....
Laffer graded it an A+
