Don’t know. All I know is he gave those out of control girl the Lemay Treatment. The cigar-chomping General Lemay said this.

“I’ll tell you what war is about. You’ve got to kill people and when you have killed enough they stop fighting.”

The guy beat these girls enough that they stopped fighting. Overwhelming and disproportionate force against some one (or several people) who is trying to beat you or kill you is always the best course of action.
