When Jackson proposes to create money on a whim and distribute it, we know it’s because he is an hereditary aristocrat with divine, unquestionable right to do so. He is some kind of sun god on earth. (Or maybe a smurf or leprechaun, I get confused.) So, where is the country that gave him that right? Was it Egypt? Sudan? England?

Who in the world would work for anything LESS than 40,000 if they knew they could get a gov’t job with no education, no training, etc...? You’d have to be a complete idiot not to try to get yourself fired so you could automatically be given one of these jobs at probably 3xs your current wages (thinking back to how much I made per year as a retail domestics department manager just five years ago)

I agree....this could work. I mean end all welfare programs as we know it and pay all unemployed Americans $40,000 to actually do something. I believe the US taxpayer could come out ahead on this. Don’t want to work——no $40,000, no welfare. No more sitting around on your backside waiting for the freebies. I’m afraid though that once the Free Sh-t Army figures it out they won’t go for it.
This is the same kind of thinking that turned a productive country like Rhodesia into Zimbabwe .
Here is the thing that scares me: They really, REALLY believe this would work. All of them, liberals. They cannot understand why just giving people money doesn’t work.
Unbelievable. You know, we could get some people elected to undo the liberal legislation that has been enacted since 2009, but...the fact that the electorate is out there that not only believes that the government could hire all the unemployed people, but would readily elect dimwits who believe that...that is what makes my spirit for the future of our country fail me.
How does a man allow himself to live every day with this kind of insanity?
