Really no need for the smart a** remark. My point is that for all the talk of a fence, I do not hear proposals as to how to logistically and physically construct such with a near 1300 mile border that includes the river and a great deal of tough rural terrain and lots of private ranches. Your suggestion of boat docks is duly noted. You could have kept your comment to that.

If you knew anything about engineering and construction with a sprinkle of security thrown in, you would know it can be done far easier and less costly than the overcomplicated boondoggles that our wonderful congress has come up with in the past. No matter what kind of ranch you may be talking about, the last time I checked with a surveying crew, the property line stops short of the actual border. They call it an easement. Just like your property line stops well short of the actual pavement on the typical street you may reside.

BTW, I really like being a smart a**. Its a lot better than being a dumb a**.
