#OccupyWallSt Poster Boy A Trust Fund Baby, Attempted Stowaway At JFK
BreitbartTV ^ | 10/15/2011 | Staff

Posted on 10/16/2011 7:34:29 PM PDT by Just4Him

A Breitbart.tv investigation has uncovered that the man whose epic meltdown video at the "Occupy Wall Street" protests went viral is really Edward T. Hall III. Mr. Hall is a Columbia graduate student who has a trust fund set up by his grandfather. He recently made headlines for trying to board a flight at JFK airport by hopping the ticket counter and diving onto the baggage carousel. He was charged with trespassing and is free on "conditional release."

Because a few have asked what it means, I think I figured it all out:

“I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions.”- He studies how the change of time correlates with changes in environmental decisionmaking (i.e. changes the general view on the environment and what needs to be done to fix whatever environmental problems may be seen)

“I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting.”— I’m pretty sure there is a word missing between moderate and excessive but this seems to me to be that he tries to find ways to start social movements (i.e. community organizing) to help speed up social recognition of what he sees as environmental problems; i.e. use community organizing to get people to not “discount” the “severity” of environmental problems.

“I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving.”- creat free technologically based systems to provide information about the environment to individuals and what they can do to save any ills he sees in the environment.

In other words:
1. Find ways to pretend that those who don’t agree with his views are dumb/stuck in the past/ignorant
2. Find ways to start community organizing people behind his ideas
3. Give free resources to the organized people

1. “He wants everybody to live like 18th century monks.
2. He wants everbody to organize on Facebook.”

‘Laws and rules are not for him. He’s rich.’

This. The entitlement mentality knows no economic bounds.

Someone asked above where his family is. I thought thats a pretty good question...where are they and why haven’t they come forward to take charge of him?

I was around this guy for three days during the second week of the “Occupation” (I was just observing). He was showboating the entire time I was there and portrayed himself as one of the leaders. He became Susan Sarandon’s self-appointed guide during the time she was there. During one of the general assemblies, he apologized to the other protesters about talking to the police, claiming he was trying to keep the peace between the group and the police. He then agreed to the group’s new policy of NO VERBAL CONTACT with the police. The guy is guano-crazy.......

Research Assistant About I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions.  I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting.  I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving.

This is the most blithering compilation of utter nonsense I've ever read. If his trust fund is/was paying for his education, the trustee should be flogged.

Not surprising...this is how they can afford just to sit at protests and complain instead of work.
