The other issue is that it is, by definition, a REPUBLICAN debate. Theoretically, at at least, only REPUBLICANS will be voting in the primaries to elect one REPUBLICAN candidate who will represent the REPUBLICAN party (don't get me started on the "open primary" states). So why shouldn't ALL the questioners be avowed amd self-identified Republicans?

What business does ANY non-Republican have asking questions in these debates?

100% agree. Why let the enemy moderate the information that the republican voters want and need. Sure republicans will ask different questions than democrats but how the hell else can we get the message out without dodging “gotcha” questions.
