I’d feel more certain if the fellow holding the shark didn’t have his fingers over the spot where a normal sharks eyes would be.
malformation occurs in all species, even humans. but most die before birth or soon after birth...no great mystery..I have seen pictures of human babies born without a brain, only the brain stem. Usually die before birth. Natures way of getting rid of freaks of nature that cannot survive.
