First Romney said it wasn't true, then tried to shout Perry's comments down. He defended himself by saying he can't be responsible for the employees of a company he hired just because they don't speak English.

But, he knew it was the truth and was exposed. The Boston Globe went and told Romney he had illegals working at his house. It was in the newspaper. When they went back a year later, they were still working there.

It was not lame of Perry to point out Romney as being hypocritical. It was not a matter of Romney "checking employment status," it was the point that the newspaper did it, and Romney did nothing.
