Rick Perry has made Texas one of the most industry-friendly states in the nation
Houston Chronicle ^ | Oct 17, 201 | AP

Gov. Rick Perry likes to say the best way to promote economic growth is to reduce regulation. When it comes to the environment, Perry has made Texas one of the most industry-friendly states in the nation.

Perry has cut funding for clean air programs and sued the Environmental Protection Agency to avoid enforcing laws to make the air cleaner. As part of his Republican presidential campaign, he routinely blasts the White House for tightening environmental standards.

"As president, I would roll back the radical agenda of President Obama's job-killing Environmental Protection Agency," Perry wrote recently in an op-ed for the New Hampshire Union-Leader. "Our nation does not need costly new federal restrictions, especially during our present economic crisis."

Perry has made Texas one of the most industry-friendly states in the nation.

That may very well be true BUT Mr Perry has not shown to me in debates that he can lead this country better than other candidates.

They say everything in Texas is big, and that sure goes for its stature in business.

With the biggest point total in the history of our study, Texas posts a big victory as America’s Top State for Business 2010.

Bull. That’s California by a mile. Mitt Romney tried to say the same thing last night about that bogus study.

Perry’s best comment yet is that he would consider defunding the UN.

Oh man, how I would enjoy looking at those UN officals’ faces on night TV if that were to happen.

Hell, I could even vote for Huntsman if I could be sure that he would do it.

Texas continues to receive national accolades, including Site Selection Magazine’s 2010 Governor’s Cup for the most new and expanded corporate facilities announced over the year.

According to USA Today, Texas has moved past New York as the nation’s second largest economy, and the Wall Street Journal has credited the state’s low taxes and employer-friendly environment with helping make Texas the job creation capital of the nation.

Additionally, Texas is ranked as the top exporting state in the nation for the ninth year in a row, and Texas consistently ranks among the top states for Fortune 500 headquarters.

Perry = Great Governing Record.

Under his three times governorship Texas the second largest state in the Union with a population of 25 millions is one of the most prosperous states in the country. It is Texas that has created almost 40% of the new jobs in the nation since 2009. This is the record that greatly qualifies someone to be a President.

“Rick Perry has made Texas one of the most industry-friendly states in the nation”

Especially industries that use low-cost illegal aliens like Perry mega donors like Bob Perry Homebuilders and Pilgrim's Pride Poultry. No e-verify, Lone Star cards, in-state tuition for illegals and much more.

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry, a frequent critic of Washington, DC, is turning his attention to an income tax vote in Washington state.

KVUE News has learned the governor sent a two page letter to 90 business leaders in The Evergreen State as an unabashed reminder that Texas has no income tax.

Many folks are really cheapening the Presidency by being so obsessed with debates.

Presidents do not and must not govern in 30 seconds sound bites and 3 seconds zingers. Seriously folks, stop the insane overrating of the importance of debates.

Texas has a projected shortfall of $10 BILLION in 2012. California, Illinois and New Jersey are the only other states with projected shortfalls over $10 million.

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2011/01/14/10-states-with-the-largest-budget-shortfalls

Texas was 70% Anglo as late as 1980. In 2020 Hispanics will outnumber Anglos. By 2040 nearly 70% of Texas population will be Hispanic.

Texas is ten years away from being another California, but Texans are too arrogant to realize it.

Seriously folks, stop the delusional thinking that Rick Perry is a conservative - He is Juan McCain with better hair, cowboy boots, slower speech, a lower IQ and a texan accent.
