Darts and arrows never felt so good. I can imagine Ronnie saying something like that.
Still, I'm not letting my hopes rise too high.

Obviously Cain, stalking horse for Romney (or is it Perry, hard to remember) is just playing around and is not serious.
His poll numbers are just a fluke and (insert Romney or Perry) are far more experienced and an obvious choice for the nonimation.

Still, I'm not letting my hopes rise too high. Smart move. Neither am I. I tell myself to stay calm and that it's Cain's race to run as he sees fit. I'm trying to swear off candidate-food-fights on FR, too.
That's the tough one.

Oh stop it, self effacing humor was a hallmark of Ronald Reagan’s style.

I listened to to Cain's proposal for the 999 tax plan, and with some clarifications, combined with the repeal of the income tax amendment, along with a “checkbook balance” clause to enforce spending limits, and this is a plan I can agree with. The largest problem I see is ramming it through 535 money drunk spenders, and their boot licking bureaucrat minions.

I’ve no doubt Cain’s having the time of his life.
To: factoryrat
Cain has already said that this was a transitional plan toward a NRST.
Those 535 money drunk spenders would lose a LOT more than just the ability to spend OPM if there was a NRST.
They’d lose the power to manipulate the tax code to reward their cronies.

RONNIE NEVER played the victim....PERIOD. Cain was responding to a remark on the part of the interviewer.
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, now that you're the frontrunner in so many polls, you have a little bit of a target on your back, and we saw that last night. Many of your colleagues on the stage were -- they're showing -- they were throwing darts at you on "9-9-9." CAIN: Greta, darts and arrows never felt so good.
By your definition, did Ronnie "play the victim" when he said "honey, I forgot to duck" ?

How disgusting.
An assisination attempt where Reagan was wounded certainly is not a suitable comparison to the thin skinned whiney CAIN.
OMG, I can’t believe it.

LET THE ANTI-CAIN BASHING OF THE MOST CONSERVATIVE PERSON IN THE RACE THAT CAN WIN, BEGIN!
It’s a *conservative* site people.
Not a Romney site.
Not an incentivizing illegal aliens site (Perry).

Your disgust for Cain is evident in every post. Many people on FR don’t like Cain or his plans, or because they support other candidates but you (and a few others here) appear to truly despise him as a person. Why is that?

This is kinda a nothing post, but the truth is there are serious questions about Cain arising now which need to be considered without The Love.
Some big holes are appearing in his credibility which referring to Perry supporters as perrywinkles or perrybots cannot fill.

That’s what I learned from the libs - if you don’t like the black candidate, you’re a racist.
