I am sorry, but I think it’s too little too late. Nothing can turn this around for Perry as long as he clings to his position on instate tuition for illegals.
He could maybe sqeak by with debate performances like the last one, but he is persona non grata to conservatives as long as he continues to support the tuition brake for illegal aliens. He either caves or it’s over.

If Perry denounced the In-State-Tuition it would be just for political advantages.

That is like legalizing them, and then all their relatives will come flooding over the border to take more jobs, which means more welfare, more medicaid, more education which must be dumbded down, and more CRIME.

If you go to the article, you'll see that besides the flat tax plan, he also proposed giving in-state tuition rates at Texas colleges to residents of Iowa and New Hampshie.
