EXCERPT
According to author Walter Isaacson, Jobs told the President in the fall of 2010, "You're headed for a one-term presidency":
Jobs, who was known for his prickly, stubborn personality, almost missed meeting President Obama in the fall of 2010 because he insisted that the president personally ask him for a meeting. Though his wife told him that Obama "was really psyched to meet with you," Jobs insisted on the personal invitation, and the standoff lasted for five days. When he finally relented and they met at the Westin San Francisco Airport, Jobs was characteristically blunt. He seemed to have transformed from a liberal into a conservative.
"You're headed for a one-term presidency," he told Obama at the start of their meeting, insisting that the administration needed to be more business-friendly. As an example, Jobs described the ease with which companies can build factories in China compared to the United States, where "regulations and unnecessary costs" make it difficult for them.
Jobs also criticized America's education system, saying it was "crippled by union work rules," noted Isaacson. "Until the teachers' unions were broken, there was almost no hope for education reform." Jobs proposed allowing principals to hire and fire teachers based on merit, that schools stay open until 6 p.m. and that they be open 11 months a year.

Ha ha ha.
wow Jobs has my admiration for speaking up to Obie. Of course we see Obie listens to no one.
Yeah.
Zero doesn’t hear too well, does he?
Wonder how it feels to realize you’re dead wrong but go out in public everyday and say that all your decisions have been the right ones?
I would believe that 98.5% of all Freepers were saying that Zer0bama was a 1-termer before he even took the oath.
Steve was down with OTP. Are you?

A little too late don’t you think Jobs?? You should have spoken up earlier, MUCH EARLIER! Look at the hell place you left for your BILLIONAIRE children. You see Mr. Jobs your house is next of the FLEABAG’S list!!
No one ever said Jobs was stupid.
He was a left-winger though, which makes sense. /s
A lot of high-achiever narrow-talents lean to the left politically. It’s like buying your politics in a package deal. You buy into it and then forget it. Repeat the proper pieties when you are forced to talk about politics, and everyone agrees and leaves you alone.
For some reason your links don’t work.
Here is another one:
Steve Jobs was a very smart guy, but he missed the big elephant in the room. Obama doesn’t want to make the USA Better, he is active in destruction of the USA Being the best in the world. Steve thought that Obama would want to do the right thing. Obama has proven he doesn’t, and probably took everything Jobs told him and did the opposite to get the results he wanted.
Wow no wonder Jobs is dead. He ticked off Muzzie.
Thank you.
Moderator, please correct the link.
Maybe gaijin is headed to becoming an AppleHead...?
I SHUDDER to even imagine how much praise Rush will shower upon Jobs 2morrow —it will be Niagara Falls.
I think Rush has tears of joy, right now..!!!
HAHAHHAHHAHHA!!!
Jobs I love u....!
Who is the HE, here?
Obama is a leftist. There's a big difference between a cultural lib and a committed leftist. Unfortunately, cultural liberals are responsible for electing leftist ideologues like Obama. Jobs probably thought Obama was just a smoother version of Slick Willie...someone who would back down and shift towards the center when their policies proved stupid. He, like millions of other cultural libs, didn't realize that Obama is a hard leftist.
Here's a 1995 interview where he discusses these views with the Smithsonian.
Jobs tried to manufacture in the United States when first at Apple and then, after, at NeXT Computer. He probably looked at it when he returned to Apple as well. It doesn't surprise me he'd have sharp words for Obama about the uncompetitive business climate we have now.
Ping!
It’ isn’t very clear, is it? Especially given the second part of the sentence.
