No matter where you look these days there is a news report, commentary, study or conference on the growing National epidemic of bullying. One television network recently aired a multi-platform series on bullying. The National Education Association released statistics in 2010 indicating that every day 160,000 children miss school out of fear of some form of bullying, verbal, physical or cyber-bullying.
Bullying is a real problem, but it is not a new phenomenon. It does appear to be on the increase and concern over bullying is legitimate. I have raised five children and now have six grandchildren. I have had to deal with the horrible effects of bullying in my effort to be a good father and grandfather. However, I am disturbed by some of the "solutions" being bandied about by "experts" in efforts to deal with the growing problem.
The cry for more federal dollars to develop programs to stamp out this increase in violence through an outside-in fix will not suffice. Bullies are bred. Bullying is a symptom and not a disease. I contend there is a connection between abortion on demand and the increase of bullying. We have lost the sense of the dignity of every human person as an unrepeatable gift from God. People are now objects of use, property not persons. This is a root of bullying and contributes to the growth of this behavior...

Does the author actually believe that school bullies are thinking about abortion?
Hard to make a direct connection - the children being bullied - and the bullies were not aborted.
Back in the ‘good old days’ larger families meant that a school kid always had a big brother or big cousin as protection.
Today - kids have fewer full-siblings with that ‘blood is thicker than water’ thingee. Step-siblings and half-siblings are not the same. Safe to say: some bullying traits are picked up in the home.
"Bullying begins in the womb" sounds like it might involve bullying between twins.
The connection is obvious. The “bully” is the so called doctor who reaches in and bullies the child to death. The “bully” is the Government which then protects that act of intentional killing, even calls it a “right”. At the root of all bullying is the failure to recognize the dignity of the human person being bullied. Also, the writer writes frequently about a host of issues and subjects. Google him.
Did you even read the article? “Bullies are bred. Bullying is a symptom and not a disease. I contend there is a connection between abortion on demand and the increase of bullying. We have lost the sense of the dignity of every human person as an unrepeatable gift from God. People are now objects of use, property not persons. This is a root of bullying and contributes to the growth of this behavior.”
The point is obvious. When you grow up in a culture which calls the bullying unto death of babies in the womb a “right”, even if they are inconvenient, the signals are sent early on...
“I contend there is a connection between abortion on demand and the increase of bullying.”
I read the story. I think it’s a bit of a stretch.
