His weakness to me is his liberal foreign policy. After 8 years of Bush and 3 years of Obama, I am done with nation building, sinking billions to democratize countries that don’t want democracy, wasteful foreign aid, and wars where the troops have their arms tied behind their back and that the American people get absolutely nothing out of. Santorum has made it clear he will continue that. Nothing personal against the guy, just a fundamental philosophical disagreement. I’m not against war, but it needs to either be for defense or for profit.

I don’t see Santorum’s foreign policy as supporting foreign wars, so much as supporting the troops. I don’t think that there is a candidate in the race that supports Obama’s rules of engagement.

I’m glad that Obama is pulling our troops out of Iraq because leaving behind a small contingent would make them targets. I wish he’d do the same with Afghanistan, if he is not going to use them as Peace Corps volunteers, while tying their hands on defense.

Santorum is just a very principled conservative, that stands above all the rest (excpt Newt) in intelligence. Santorum is simply a good man.
