The idea that we can compute what the temperature IS or SHOULD BE at any given time for every point on earth is an absurdity. Main is soooooo vain.
certainly you are correct.
but, there is a lot of data that is useful,
when it isn’t rigged.
official data has been changed, LOWERING temperatures
in official records, up to 100 years ago, to falsely
create a higher slope.
and this study is mostly true, but misleading.
since 1950, there WAS a temperature increase.
MOSTLY because the Sun was it’s most active,
in 1000 years.
but, in the past decade, the Sun has changed,
and we are entering another “Maunder Minimum”
period.
(Satellite measurements show the LOWEST readings ever
from the Sun, since launched in the 50 years ago.)
and in fact, the Earth has gotten COLDER since 2001.
(which is why Hadley CRU wanted to “Hid the decline”.)
