2:00 PM in the afternoon is a "demonstration".
A demonstration of power and control.
Greetings sjmjax:
Concur with your assessment defining the difference between a test and a demonstration. Leaves me wondering who’s the intended audience anyway?
Consider the fire alarm system. Tests occur during off hours. One only conducts drills with operational equipment during normal business hours. Nothing erodes user confidence faster than equipment failure, compliments of an untested system. Bush’s fault? LOL.
This event will be interesting, to say the least. My employer’s student broadcast station will participate, and I’ll observe. No doubt all of our “studies” majors will consider this event, no matter the outcome, part of a grand conspiracy.
Cheers,
OLA
As many folks who sleep with a tv or radio on, I strongly suspect 2 PM is the wiser choice...otherwise you really would have some heart attacks from the rudely awakened.
