I have several. I like my Grundig G6 Aviator (Buzz Aldrin edition), it is the size of a cigarette pack and I was able to receive an amateur radio operator on 10 meters from Alberta Canada using the whip antenna alone and running on 2 NiMH "AA" batteries. I also picked up a simulcast of an Oregon AM station on 25,950 kc during the day. I would recommends everyone to get an SW radio and even a police scanner.
