Obama would never accept the challange.

Newt is a great speaker but then he's a policy wonk and has a background as a history teacher and he knows how to relate his positions to the people. If the only thing we needed in a POTUS is a policy wonk I would agree that Newt would be that guy. Newt's problem has always been a lack of judgement.

I think Newt has a lot to offer to this country, but not as POTUS.

That about sums it up.

Newt's problem has always been a lack of judgement.

And I agree that has been his Achilles heel in the past, but I submit to you that he's too intelligent to make those mistakes again.

“Newt’s problem has always been a lack of judgement.”

I agree 100%. He is smart, the best debater by far. Having said that, his record is atrocious. Has everyone forgotten how he bent over for Clinton and the Democrats? I haven’t.

I totally agree with you!!! We are electing a President, not a debator.

Newt may know his history and how to talk the good talk - but he is lacking in good judgement. There are so many things that he has done to prove his lack of common sense that I would not like to see his name on the ticket in 2012.

There was a time I could have supported him, but not anymore.

He talks a bit too much, and somewhat pompously at times, and the chicks in the audience didn't seem to dig him like they did Cain.
