It isn’t the children of these two crap weasels that are losing their lives and getting maimed for life.

Do you realize that John McCain has two sons in the military? One enlisted in the Marines and the other is Navy officer.

There is also that little matter of McCain's stay at the Hanoi Hilton. John McCain himself was the one maimed for life, courtesy of the North Vietnamese.

Say what you will about Barack Obama. He's a hypocrite at best.

But John McCain is a different matter. He and his family have given more than most. And unless you have had a relative killed in action, he has probably given more than you.

McCain is a squish on domestic policy, but in defense and foreign affairs, he's usually right.

McCain may have given, but he is no hero. He has undermined the American people far too long doing it as the military hero.

I am sick and tired of giving him respect and free pass to join the Regressives to destroy the nation he was supposed to be serving.

My whole family has served in the military. My husband and my son. My father and my grandfathers served also, so your diss is lame at best.

It was people like you that delivered McCain as our 2008 nominee. And we all know how that turned out.

John F Kerry also “honorably served” supposedly, but I wouldn’t give you 2 cents for him.

McCain, though, is more anxious than most veterans to promote foreign adventures.

There doesn't seem to be an international skirmish or civil insurgency across the globe that he isn't encouraging our involvement. From Bosnia to Libya, he has urged intervention.

McCain seems to view military involvement as the first step in resolving a "crisis", rather than the last.

I was attacking your specific point that McCain’s children were not involved, they were, so that part of your post was factually incorrect.

McCain was not my choice in 2008, precisely because of his “maverick” reputation. He was the wrong nominee, period. The only good that came out of his campaign was giving Sarah Palin a national platform.

Frankly, I think he needs to retire, he has been in Washington too long and become part of the culture there.

But to call him a “traitor” goes too far.

Many people serve, including my brother, father, grandfather, and others. Most don’t get tortured like McCain was. I’ll ask him to leave office, but I won’t insult him.

This is merely a tip of the iceberg that is McCain: Google: mccain pow mia

McCain is nothing less than an ass. But it is good that his kids are serving.

” Rabs, have you seen the movie, Dr. Stranglove (circa 1964)?

Not yet - but apparently my local library has a copy. “

Watch it.....it is one of the best political satires....if not THE best.

Thanks, Rabs, for the image of McIdiot riding the H-bomb.

It bothers me that one who has seen war up close and personal like he did, is so quick to talk about military adventurism. Shame on him.
