Gregory forgets that Obama had zero foreign policy experience and Clinton only had service on Senate committees when she became SoS.

^^^
What? Have you forgotten about how she had to dodge bullets in Bosnia while she was FLOTUS?

My my my, Hillary is looking particularly smug and hideous this morning.

(probably smells like vomit and alcohol)

I wasn't aware that She and Bill were sharing a domicile.

I think Michelle is running for Mitts VP as are several others.

I thought so too--especially when Chris set her up with several misleading, incomplete quotes about Cain and then let her roll for longer than I've ever seen him allow without his usual, constant interruptions.

At one time she was my first choice followed closely by Cain, but she misrepresented his statements too and branded him a flip-flopper, but no such treatment for the real and total flip-flopper Romney. It was disgusting.

Thank you so much Animal for the kind words about dog.

They can’t talk, God Bless. They can’t tell you this hurts, or that hurts.

Our dog has been drinking profusely of late, and, of course, peeing.

It’s just the oddest thing.

First thing, I thought perhaps she was showing signs of diabetes, that signal of old-age that we and our pets, all mammals I suspect, start to show as physiology slows down our systems and circulations. Only thing she’s coming up on 9 years of age and that’s not awfully old for a dog, though it’s heading towards. Besides she’s plenty sprite and healthy, crossing fingers.

But I started to change her diet, as it were, veering away from foodstuffs like carbohydrates that are bad for diabetes. Yeah she mostly eats dog type food but we do feed her off the table at times. But husband was yelling at her for drinking so much and I felt I had to do something.

Then the peeing began. Of course if the dog drinks a lot they pee a lot so the constant urinating was not a major concern. In due course, she began to pee inside. This was perfectly awful as you might imagine and we decided to cut down on the drinking of water at certain times. However, she was drinking water for a reason, more later.

We started taking her out to pee more often, natch, husband late at night and me early in the morn. We got out huge fans, smell spray and rolls of paper towels to try desperately to save the rug.

The other morning I got up and sure enough, there was a spot of pee on the rug. Dog sleeps in bedroom, under my bed, and as I walked upon the wet spot I’d had it. I called her out and yelled at her, took her out to pee, told her she had to wake me up. There’s been times recently when she’d been nudging me to let her out at odd times and I did. Evidently she woke up and managed to crawl out from under her hidey hole, pee on the floor, all while I was sleeping.

So after yelling I let her outside to pee and a couple things ran through my mind. First, why such a small spot of urine? This dog, runs about 85 pounds, can pee a bucket. Husband had been letting her out in mid of night so lack of large amount of urine in that accident was certainly understandable. But how bad could she had been pressed to pee that little bit, I pondered? This dog holds her urine very well and to feel forced to pee this little amount had me wondering.

She squatted and peed and I noted it was taking her for about forever and I also noted that she was just dribbling pee for all the time she was taking.

Well hey, I’m a female and females of all apecies get a bladder infection from time to time. One of the first signs, feeling like you have to go all the time but only going just a little once making it to a toilet. Second sign, constant burning and itching. She had been, in her hidey hole at night, doing some kind of slurpy thing that dogs do when working a wound. I suspect she was itching her pain in the only way a dog can Finally, if really bad, bloody urine.

So I’m outside doing morning exercises and I pay close attention to dog. She’s constantly going to water bowl, gulping down huge amounts of water, and, of course, squatting to pee. I look close to the urine stream and almost scream that it was coming out of her almost blood red.

For the entirety of our morning exercises she’s gulping down water and peeing. In due course her urine runs clear.

It may sound weird but on some level this dog knew that by drinking lots of water and urinating she was somehow clearing her body of the pain. In fact, one of the things the docs tell us females when beset with bladder infections is to drink LOTS of water. Poor dog didn’t have advantage of doc but her instinct was spot on.

We both feel so awful for yelling at her, how she had to be suffering, how she couldn’t tell us what was hurting her. She doesn’t want to pee in the house; she’s one of the cleanest dogs on the planet. She doesn’t even defecate in the middle of the lawn, she’s go way over to the side and does it in a pile of leaves. She thens stomps her feet back to cover up the pile.

Anyway, lots of love, medicine, lots of water, and a thanks that dawn finally broke over my marble head.

“No, it comes down to it’s not the government’s role or anybody else’s role to make that decision. Secondly, if you look at the statistical incidents, you’re not talking about that big a number. So what I’m saying is it ultimately gets down to a choice that that family or that mother has to make. Not me as president, not some politician, not a bureaucrat. It gets down to that family. And whatever they decide, they decide. I shouldn’t have to tell them what decision to make for such a sensitive issue.”

I don’t know how he could make it any clearer then this.

If by clearer you mean he favors “choice” and not government dictates, I agree.

Glad she's on the road to recovery. Thank the Lord she didn't have to depend on Obamacare. The sad part of having a sick animal is the total feeling of helplessness. They can't talk except with their eyes and we can't understand them. An awful feeling for sure. Lots of love and kisses to your dog from the two that live with us. They both said, “bark, bow wow, bark, bark” whatever in the heck that means.

I always remember our friend Common Tator’s maxim: THE MOST LIKABLE CANDIDATE WINS.

...

This has nothing to do with who is smartest, most conservative, etc. Purely on television appearance likability.

Obama won because the GOP managed to find the ONE candidate who was less appealing than Obama. Bush beat Gore based on the likability quotient. Bush beat Kerry for the same reason.

And Bush vs Dukakis, Reagan vs Modale and Carter, Carter vs Ford, Nixon vs McGovern and Humphrey, Johnson vs Goldwater, and Kennedy vs Nixon.

I hope Republicans, especially the candidates, pick up on Sarah Plain’s narrative of a couple of days ago. Waaaay to early to do victory laps over Gaddafi.

No question. With govt.now the fastest growth of union jobs in the country its where they will go. I question whether or not we could stand another four years of the regime.

She is in Uzbekistan.

Yes! And she sure wanted us to know it based on how she burst out with, "...talking to you from UZBEKISTAN!!!" (That's pretty close to a direct quote.) It was the most emotionally connected moment in the entire interview with a big smile and energetic happy tone.

IMO her earlier statements of what a wonderful job Obama had done and what a fine and great leader he was were aimed at the black electorate: "See, I'm not trying to oust him; it won't be MY fault if others force him out and beg me to save the Dem party and the country. I've got nothing to do with politics any more."

Does anybody actually believe she has no interest in politics anymore. Or that she's not being set up to be the last minute savior. Her Uzbekistan outburst was to remind or convince everybody that SHE is actively working seriously on foreign policy and that SHE is the real leader IMO.

I saw it as a campaign statement.

I watch Biden on Candy Crowley and I must barf.

Just lie, ladies and gems.

“There has been reduced public sector jobs and increased private sector jobs.”

“Less cops, more crime...it ain’t rocket science.”

“We didn’t know that during the Bush era GNP had fallen 6% and we got that hoised into our stats. Our GNP and economy has actually RISEN if you remove the Bush downfall.”

Of course I paraphrase Biden above but he lies as he smiles through cheshire cat teeth.

Why doesn’t any Repub get out there and challenge him on his pack of lies? Why don’t they ask to show them the stats? Better, why not just say...”Well anyone can make up stuff..” then go on to throw out a lot of made of stuff?

Maybe you know, or can find out. I can’t.

Heard earlier that the pull out agreement was forced on Bush by what’s his name in Iraq. And that Bush & Co were working with the Iraqi government to change it until 0zero took over. Then, it was still being worked on until Iraq realized 0bozo wasn’t going to stay anyway, so they simply followed up on the original plan.

I don’t know the whole truth but I do believe there is more there than the Democrats are saying in blaming Bush once again.

Drudge has some headlines this morning that just want to make you vomit.

ISLAM RISING!
LIBYAN LEADER SAYS SHARIA LAW WILL RULE!

With Obie being muslim president and leader of the free world, what other agenda could he possibly have than establish an islamic caliphate? Take care of America first? Ha ha ha ha ha. Anyone who still believes that is a fool.

He’s muslim first, and (supposedly) American second. Everyone think about it.
