Yes it is true. And you don’t have to kiss the nose, just touch it. I use that trick to get those stubborn pill spitting cats to take their medication. Pill in, close mouth, touch nose and pretty routinely the pill goes down on the first lick!

I am by nature a dog person. But had a feral kitty adopt me a couple of years ago. Kissing or touching her nose just made my heart stop in unadulterated fear, lol.
