I’ve noticed it works applied to skin directly, but that’s me. Sensitive skins or elsewise, maybe not. Try it next time you have a mosquito bite or something. Pour a tsp of Benadryl on it. Messier but way cheaper than those ointments and creams. But if you don’t mind waiting a few minutes, the longer-lasting method is to have a good swig of Benadryl or other antihistamine cough med. Also if you are allergic to grass and such, but have to mow your lawn or run into weeds for any reason, take it before you go. Marvelous stuff. Makes you sleepy though, taken internally.
