Well at a minimum Libya has been defanged militarily, for awhile.
Qaddafi gave up his WMD programs a few years back. If anything, Libya has become a military threat again, at least to Israel.

Are you kidding? All of his Anti aircraft missiles have walked into the desert and are loosed on the world. Billions have poured into the country to buy the rebels weapons and now all that is where? The military might of Libya is in chaos. Muslim chaos. Not good.
