My thoughts as well, sloop. Neutrality on our part resulted on WW1 and WW2. Like it or not, we are the policemen of the world and for the most part, we’ve done a pretty damn good job of it.

worked pretty well before we started to have ‘rules’ for war
i am amazed that the idiot state department had ‘negotiations’ about immunity for our troops in iraq
evidently, they don't understand the concept of ‘conquered’

THE [BLANK] POLITICIANS STICK KNIVES IN THE BACKS OF OUR TROOPS, CITIZENS AND THE POOR DUMBSMACKS WE PROMISED TO HELP.
Pass the word for the bodybag industry to ramp up. I've got a feeling the killing fields in SE Asia after the Viet Nam bugout are going to look like a Sunday School Picnic compared with what's going to happen in the Mideast in the next year.

I bet the headline at the Daily Paul says “Rush mentions Ron Paul” after that last comment.

Well, Soros and friends are primarily responsible for paying some protesters to work, but it looks like the money that is being fought over are donations to the cause that has been placed in a bank and the OWS Finance Committee (no, I'm not joking. supposedly they have a Finance Committee) will not hand out enough of that money to do tasks around camp.
They want $lice of the occu-pie

I only heard a small portion today. But, I heard Rush say that congress is free (by law) to practice insider trading. He gave a website of info facts and I missed it.
Can anyone help?

I believe it is a separation of powers issue, the Executive not being able to control the Legislative or Judicial branches. That and the Constitutional provision that both Houses of Congress shall make their own rules. Now, that’s not to say that there shouldn’t (or isn’t) an ethics rule outlawing the practice. (IANAL)

If there is a law that congress doesn’t observe it should not apply to the general population.
