a commitment to reflate

REFLATE?

The libs have effectively redefined the term "inflation", now they are inventing new words to bolster their failed ideology.

When reading Krugman I often become waylaid because I start think about which is more annoying and disagreeable: Krugman’s endless vanity and self-regard, or Krugman’s obliviousness and stupidity.

Exhibit A for the former always begins with the self-proclaimed title of his NYT blog: The Conscience of a Liberal. And yes Mr. Krugman, what an exquisite thing it is.

For examples of Krugman’s obliviousness you needn't drill down very deep - it's always on the surface. In this instance, Europe's problems, according to Paul, begin with the sovereign debt crisis, which of course implicates Paul's solution - ECB lending and lots and lots of it. You see, problems like sovereign debt - if they become manifest in even more mind-boggling sums - become miraculous solutions when uttered by the sage wisdom of the oracle and needless to say, the conscience of the NYT, Paul Krugman.
