The “Vatican pouncing” is also coming from conservative lay Catholics fed up with seeing this kind of BS being promoted anywhere in the bowels of the Vatican, forcing us once again on the defensive when we would prefer to be doing simple Catholic and pro-life, pro-family apologetics.
