Catholic University has been accused of violating the human rights of Muslim students by not allowing them to form a Muslim student group and by not providing them rooms without Christian symbols for their daily prayers, according to a complaint filed with the Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights.
The 60-page complaint said Muslim students “must perform their prayers surrounded by symbols of Catholicism – e.g., a wooden crucifix, paintings of Jesus, pictures of priests and theologians which many Muslim students find inappropriate.”

Patrick Reilly, the president of the Cardinal Newman Society, an organization that promotes Catholic identity among Catholic schools, seemed stunned by the complaint.
“I don’t know what the attorney wants them to do – if he wants them to actually move the Basilica or if the Muslim students can find someplace where they don’t have to look at it,” he told Fox News. Catholic University, he said, is a Catholic institution.

Bingo! You hit it. The radical Muslims respond only to strength and force. They will not back off. They will not be reasonable, only drive for more. This is not shocking in light of the Ground Zero mosque, the push for recognition of Sharia law in our courts, push from the Left to stop recognizing traditional American holidays. The only chance in the long term is to force them back. As Europe is understanding too late, the cultures don’t mix.
In other words, start making demands of them. And mean it.
Aren’t there Muslim universities they can go to?

Do religious Muslims actually believe in the existence of such a thing as “human rights”? Or is it merely a convenient weapon to wield against infidels?
What evidence could possibly exist to support such a proposition?

I'll bet they aren't ~ although a couple of them dealing with the DC government may have visas ~ possibly stolen from someone else.

If the government orders a catholic church school to do away with their crosses, how long before they’re ordered to do away with their bibles. This is exactly what separation of church and state means.
It’s not the Catholic response, I know - but I would tell them to stick their 60-page report where the sun doesn’t shine, and then ignore them afterwards.
No, it’s what they THINK it means.
This might be the beginning of yet another Christian persecution era. We have survived many so far....we’ll see
how strong we are this round.
Modern Muslims seem to be a bit weak on higher education. It requires thinking.
It is a Catholic school if you want that find a muslin school to send them to.
And Jews want Kosher bacon.
