Lots ‘o manufacturing jobs like NUCOR Steel down in St. James...Gov Jindal says he got 6,050 new jobs. Call up NUCOR, why don’t ya, and make them tell the “truth”. NUCOR’s website says that the will hire 150 permanent jobs.

Quit drinkin the Kool-Aid. SHEEP!

There’s been several here in the Lake Charles area. It’s not just NUCOR. But hey, I’m not one of the nutjob libertarians who got pissed off that he didn’t veto a bill fast enough.

I have your number now. You call me a SHEEP, I will call you a LOON.

Here is the logic.

Obama IS the President of the U.S.

His Father was a citizen of Kenya and returned to Kenya to be involved in their politics. Yet he remains President.

Therefore: If he is eligible, and he must be because he remains in office and there is no possibility what so ever of him being removed due to his father being a foreigner, than Jindal and Rubio are both eligible. Both have immigrant parents who became citizens. They where both born in this country. The NEW STANDARD IS birthright citizenship = Natural Born Status as far as POTUS and VPOTUS are concerned.

Q.E.D AGAIN!

Regardless, neither is running for either position right now and I doubt either will be doing so in 2012.

The NEW STANDARD

You're insane. The "New Standard" also applies to abortion, illegal aliens and other abhorrent actions.

Yes it does apply to all those as well. It is called reality. Try living in it. Until these things changed by either Constitutional Amendment, Legislative Action or a judicial ruling they are the law of the land. If a Constitutional Amendment is passed to make abortion illegal, I would be thrilled. If a Judicial ruling throws out the stupidity of Roe VS. Wade I would agree with it. If a law mandating a wall and strong action against illegals and their countries of origin I would be for that as well. And if a law, ruling or amendment was passed that outlawed Chicago Machine community rabble rousers who have Kenyan fathers from rising to the level of POUTUS I would stand and cheer and cry for joy.

You don't have to agree with the FACTS. Your opinion is irrelevant.p>

FACT: Obama is president.

FACT: Obama has a father who was a foreigner his entire life.

FACT: No One of ANY authority has even considered removing Obama due to his fathers status as a Non-Citizen. No one, not one.

FACT: The Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court swore Obama in: NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE. He sure as Hell isn't going to look at any case that brings his judgment into question so the SCOTUS will never rule him ineligible.

FINAL FACT: To continue to dwell on this line of reason is ridiculous and the sign of being a bit of a knucklehead.

If Obama is eligible and the reality is that he IS President, than both Jindal or Rubio are eligible.

I can not believe that people are still arguing the stupidity of Obama’s eligibility. He isn't going to leave without getting voted out. Continuing to argue about it makes you a lunatic!

The issue isn’t that Jindal’s parents weren’t BORN in the US. The issue is that they were not CITIZENS of the US at the time of Bobby’s birth.

Wrong is wrong is wrong. Some things are not to be accepted...ever. This is one of them. Real conservatives stand for something.

Am I to assume that you have accepted abortion in the same way you accept the Obama presidency?

I will not vote for any ticket with Rubio or Jindal on it. Ever.

Then, you and the other 'birthers' on the thread are supporters of Obama and the Democrats, yet you point fingers at the sane FReepers as having 'questionable FR credentials.' I guess by that, you mean FR should be an ever-more shadowy den of ignorance and disrespect, in which the light of truth and common sense should never shine. You're getting there...

If not for the internet and the TEA Party, he would have been considered a conservative.

Tell me what the Tea Party has accomplished, other than constantly bitching at and about nearly every Republican elected official, huh?

Why don’t you check out the “ribbon cutting” for Vee Vechicle in Monroe? Baaaah!

Foster Farms in Farmerville (just south of the Arkansas line) Jindal claims 3,790 jobs...Foster Farms claims 1,060, and about 60% of these folk live in Arkansas.
Baaaah!

Blade Dynamics in New Orleans, Jindal claims 1,570 jobs...Blade Dynamics says.....TADA!!!...600.
Baaaah!

Post me back for more Jindal lies....Baaaah!

Granted, Lake Charles is booming...as your local government is heeding the Lake Charles area Tea Party, and the local citizens...”no new taxes”... makes for a friendly business environment.

This question shows that you either do not live in the US or that you are cut off from reality. From getting rid of several candidates in the primaries to playing an important role in the defeat of the Dims in the 2010 polls, the TEA Party has delivered. At least two RINOs ended their careers in tears (Arlen Specter and Bob Bennett).

The TEA Party is also the reason that many mainstream RINOs like Newt Gingrich and the Heritage Foundation have been forced to oppose the individual mandate. The TEA Party is responsible for educating the morons at Heritage Foundation that the individual mandate amounts to socialism. Heritage prescribed the individual mandate in 1991.

NATIONAL CONSERVATIVE PUNDITS PROMOTE JINDAL AS “LIMITED GOVERNMENT,” BUT IS HE?

October 27, 2011—12:16 AM CDT The national conservative pundit class is praising Governor Bobby Jindal’s landslide victory.

The most recent fawning piece of pro-Jindal pimping comes from Cal Thomas who writes:

...most newspapers and TV media outside Louisiana either buried Jindal’s win on inside pages and deep into their newscasts, or ignored it. In a telephone conversation, I asked Governor Jindal why? “It runs contrary to the political thinking in Washington, which is about more spending and bigger government,” he said. The big media don’t want to focus on successes that come as the result of smaller government and less spending because it not only reduces the size and power of government, but the influence of journalists who see themselves co-equal with, if not superior to, government. (see full piece here)

Thomas seems to take Jindal’s word for it- but does he know Jindal’s record? While the national media seems to be ignoring Jindal’s electoral victory, they are also ignoring parts of Mr. Jindal’s record- which cause some to question his dedication to “limited government.”

IS THIS LIMITED GOVERNMENT? BILL BANNING USE OF CASH PASSES UNDER JINDAL

A recent bill that became law under Governor Jindal makes it illegal to use cash for second-hand sales. Mike Mesnick of Tech Dirt recently noted that support of such a law does not reflect a belief in limited government but rather, an oppressive, leviathan state.

Mesnick noted that “One of the good features of cash is the fact that it can be used anonymously. It’s no surprise that the government hates that, but would you ever expect the government to actually outlaw the use of cash?

“Down in Louisiana, a recently passed law completely outlaws the use of cash in transactions for secondhand goods. When I read the story, I thought it was so crazy that it had to be a misunderstanding.” See full story here.

NOT EXACTLY PRO-BUSINESS!
In a story by KLFY news in Lafayette, a business owner said the law will inflict great harm to his business. “We’re gonna lose a lot of business,” Danny Guidry told KLFY. Guidry owns the Pioneer Trading Post in Lafayette. He deals in buying and selling unique second hand items. “We don’t want this cash transaction to be taken away from us. It’s an everyday transaction,” Guidry explained. See full story here.

JINDAL SUPPORTS EDWARDS CRONY FOR SENATE PRESIDENT

Jindal’s public support for John Alario as senate president has drawn the ire of Louisiana conservatives. Was backing John Alario a conservative thing to do? I depends on whom you ask, but in 2007, Jindal’s own party went after Alario with attack ads portraying him as a corrupt politician who tarnished Louisiana’s reputation. See the ad here. Conservative, state-wide talk radio host Moon Griffon was the first to point this out
The Times Picayunne recently referred to Alario as a “former Edwin Edwards ally.” Edwin Edwards is a former governor who spent the better part of a decade in prison for racketeering, fraud and extortion. Naturally, Jindal’s choice to back Alario for senate president has raised questions about Jindal’s ethics reforms: the governor has touted Louisiana’s ethics laws as the “gold standard” in ethics reform.

Shreveport pollster Elliot Stonecipher said that “The governor’s choice of John Alario for this key leadership position - virtually certain to be agreed to by a majority of state senators - is the period at the end of the sentence about our governor’s ‘ethics gold standard’ claim.

“The story is over. Gov. Jindal’s claim was and is bogus.”

Oh, I’m so impressed.
Yeah, the Tea Party gave us Christine O’Donnell and a Dem senator in Maryland; clueless Joe Miller in Alaska; a Congressional “caucus” (what do they do, anyway?) led by gaffe-prone Michelle Bachmann; and, it gave us libertarian Ron Paul son in the U.S. Senate.
Wow.

With people like you supporting them, it is little wonder that RINOs support Islamofascist terrorists and get away with it. Apart from Islamofascist terrorists, the group you support includes Dede Scozzafava and those who propped up Osama bin LAden and Saddam Hussein proving that you are a useful idiot of Saddam Hussein.
